Endoscopy Test
Endoscopy is used to examine the gastrointestinal tract. It allows for early diagnosis of conditions such as ulcers, cancer, and GI bleeding. Our state-of-the-art endoscopy services help in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
What is an Endoscopy?
An endoscopy is a medical procedure that uses a flexible tube, called an endoscope, equipped with a camera and light at the tip. This tube is carefully inserted into the body through natural openings such as the mouth, throat, or rectum to allow doctors to visually examine the internal organs. The procedure provides real-time images, helping doctors identify abnormalities such as inflammation, ulcers, tumors, polyps, bleeding, and more.
What to Expect After the Procedure?
After your endoscopy, you may experience mild bloating or discomfort, but these symptoms usually subside quickly. If you were given sedation, you will need someone to drive you home. You may also be given detailed instructions regarding post-procedure care and follow-up visits if necessary.
